Podolí

Solar plant

At the end of 2010, we have commissioned a modern photovoltaic power plant Podolí.

Podolí is located 15 km north of the town of Tábor, about 30 km north-east of Písek in the South Bohemian region. This is one of the areas with favourable conditions to produce electricity from solar radiation. The power plant with an installed capacity of 1.454 MWp annually produces electricity covering the consumption of more than 650 households.

The construction itself took place in the second half of 2010. Solar energy is harvested by Yingli Solar a CNBM polycrystalline photovoltaic panels. A total of 6,324 pieces are installed.
